New York aster (Symphyotrichum novi-belgii)

Late season perennial with lavender flowers and narrow smooth leaves. As the blooms of other flowers have gone by, the New York aster is a critical food for late season bees, butterflies, and moths. Excellent addition to the pollinator-friendly garden.
