Monkey flower (Mimulus ringens)
Perennial wildflower with small narrow leaves set opposite along the stem. Numerous small irregularly shaped light purple flowers erupt at multiple nodes throughout the plant. Common to marshes, the margins of streams and ponds, and the shorelines of lakes. Can tolerate light shade.
