White water lily (Nymphaea odorata)

Sub-aquatic plant with floating leaves and aromatic white flowers. Common to the shallows of streams, ponds, and lakes. Stems transport oxygen from the large round leaves down to the tuberous root. Excellent oxygenator for ponds prone to algae. Provides habitat for fish and amphibians.
